1. A) DESIRABLE SOLUTION: Dynamic Odoo block Products  – required adjustments :

Should display products instead of variants (or in other words should display different variants of different products). 

Should display 5 products - there should be no slides - no carousel.

The client wants only 5 products to be visible, so the option of columns without carousel should be developed.

Should allow:

pulling products from a selected webshop category, or

manual product selection, regardless of category

The “Recently viewed”, “Newest products”, and “Recently sold products” filters force display based on their logic only.

There must be an option to select None or to disable these filters (if necessary to enable choosing which product will appear in every column of the Products block). 

Even more freedom would be gained if it would be possible to choose product without dependency of category - it means that in Products block can be displayed variants of different products and different  categories.

If possible - the design should be the same as it is shown in the 1) B solution below.

1. B) - CURRENT SOLUTION: Manual product selection from any category - the client will get the result with the custom solution below (but the block is Static / non-dynamic):

Manual input of 5 prices and 5 product names, 5 images and 5 links

Only one link replacement per entire product card (applies to image, name, and price together – for all 5 cards - the client will not have to link the image, and then title separately with the same link)

Manual selection of which products from any will be featured

Not a carousel

If the client requests a carousel, additional development hours will be required (but she probably won't require)

If it's possible it's very useful to check: if the solution 1 a) from above requires too much time, i'd ask you to check if it's possible to copy add to cart link from any product page, and integrate that link on any column below. That way we get the fastest temporary or even permanent solution.
